All residents from European Union countries must register with the police if they live for more than 3 month a year on the island. First address where to register is the Policia Nacional at the Paseo Mallorca. The registration costs 6.70 Euros to be payed in the banks in the neighbourhood. Make sure you bring a copy of your passport with you. If not, you will have to go to the nearby copyshop and you can imagine what the copy will cost you there.... Being exposed to high levels of noise isn't any good for human ears nor for someone's well-being. Spain sadly ranks first in a European ranking of tolerated noise levels with some 80 decibels that have to be tolerated according to the current legislation.
