As from today, the new exclusive webcam on www.andreasprange.com is online. Right now it shows the life on one of Palma de Mallorca's tiny streets in a residental area in the city centre. Due to limitations in the upload speed of my internet connection, availability is limited to 4 users...

 

The webcam features a real full stream of a 640x480 pixel image without sound. It is up and running 24 hours a day, but it may be down occacionally for technical reasons related to the internet connection. 

 

I have chosen the current view on the street life in Palma because the window near to my server allows for this view. In the future, I will try to change this, switching to the view on the port of Palma and Bahia of Palma. If there is enough revenue from ads on this page, I may consider an external streaming server that would allow for more users at once.

 

Loading of the stream may take a while, so please be patient. If you get a "No video" message, try to reload or try later on again. You will need windows media player installed. In some versions of Firefox, the video appears correctly in the full 640x480 resolution, while some versions (may depend on the media player version too) show it in a smaller 320x240 window with controls.....
