Average housing square metre price 2006 |

In 2006, according to the "Sociedad de Tasación", the average square metre price for constructed housing has risen by 9.8% in Spain. While still being a high figure, it is somewhat slower than in recent years, when housing prices rose by 16% in 2003, 12.5% in 2004 and 10.1% in 2005. The resulting price per square metre on the Balearic Islands now comes in at 2.369€. This means, that an average flat is priced at well over 200.000€.
